Using this website, whatever your circumstances.

Most of our patients are older, and many use dentures because of conditions that affect them in other ways too. A website they cannot read or operate is no use to anyone, so here is what we have done and what to do if something does not work.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

What we have built in

  • Keyboard access. Every link, button and form field can be reached and operated without a mouse, and the item you are on is visibly outlined.
  • Skip to content. A link at the very top jumps straight past the navigation, so you do not have to tab through the menu on every page.
  • Screen readers. Headings follow a proper order, form fields have labels attached to them, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than read out as noise.
  • Errors that explain themselves. If the booking form cannot be submitted, the message says what is wrong and is announced to screen readers rather than only appearing in colour.
  • Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations on this site do not run.
  • Text that scales. The layout reflows if you enlarge text or zoom in, and works down to a small phone screen.
  • Readable contrast. Text and buttons are set against backgrounds with enough contrast to stay legible.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather say this plainly than claim perfection:

  • Some of our photographs have brief descriptions rather than detailed ones.
  • The site has not been formally audited against WCAG 2.1 AA by an independent tester. We have built to those guidelines, but that is not the same as being certified against them.
  • The Google map on our contact details links out to Google Maps, which we do not control.

You never have to use the website

Everything you can do here, you can do by phone or in person. If the booking form is difficult for any reason, ring us on (02) 6059 8444 between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and we will take your details over the phone. Walk-ins are welcome for urgent repairs.

Our clinic at 75 Melrose Drive has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking and seating.

Tell us if something does not work

If you have trouble using any part of this site, we would genuinely like to know — it is the only way we find out. Call (02) 6059 8444 or email borderlab.dental@gmail.com, and tell us which page and what happened. We will help you directly and fix the problem.
