How it works

Your visit, step by step.

No surprises, no jargon. Here is exactly what happens from your first phone call to final fit at our West Wodonga clinic.

Step 01

Consultation

A free chat where we look at what you have now, what you want, and what your mouth actually needs. No pressure, no obligation.

Step 02

Digital scan

We take a precise digital scan of your mouth. Your case goes straight into our in-house lab here in West Wodonga — no sending away, no delays.

Step 03

Try-in

You wear a trial set. We adjust the colour, shape, and bite together until it feels completely right.

Step 04

Fitting & follow-up

Your final set is delivered and fitted. Two free adjustments in the first six weeks are included — because a new denture always needs a settling period.

Why choose a specialist for full dentures in Albury–Wodonga

A denture is not a product off a shelf. The way your jaw closes, the shape of your gums, the tone of your skin, and the way you sound all go into a set that feels genuinely yours. A specialist denture prosthetist — not a general dentist — has the focused training and dedicated equipment to get this right.

Our in-house digital lab in West Wodonga

Most denture clinics in the region send your work to an external lab and wait days for it to come back. Ours does not. We design on screen, mill or 3D-print in-house, and finish by hand — which means faster turnarounds and tighter quality control at every stage.

Settling in

New dentures feel strange for a few days — that is completely normal, and we plan for it. Follow-up adjustments are included so you are never left to figure it out on your own.

Questions

Things patients usually ask.

How long will my new dentures last?
With proper care, full dentures typically last 5 to 8 years before a replacement is recommended. Over time, your jaw and gums change shape, which affects how the denture fits. Regular check-ups at our West Wodonga clinic help us catch this early and advise you before fit becomes a problem.
Can I eat normally straight away?
Not immediately — but sooner than you might expect. Most patients start with soft foods and work up to a normal diet over two to four weeks. We include follow-up adjustments in the first six weeks specifically to help with this transition.
Will my new teeth look fake?
Not if they are made properly. At Borderlab, every set is selected and shaped to match your face, skin tone, and natural lip line. We also offer premium characterised dentures with subtle shading and texture that closely mimic natural teeth. The goal is for people not to notice at all.
