Borderlab Denture Clinic & Laboratory, 75 Melrose Drive, West Wodonga VIC 3690. You can reach us on (02) 6059 8444 or at borderlab.dental@gmail.com.
As a health service provider, we are covered by the Privacy Act regardless of our size — the small business exemption does not apply to us.
This policy covers the personal information you give us through this website, and the information collected automatically when you visit it.
Your clinical records — the notes, impressions, scans and treatment history we keep about your care — are handled separately under our obligations as a health service provider. Ask us at the clinic if you would like to know more about those.
The booking form asks for:
We use this only to contact you about your enquiry and to arrange your appointment. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell it to anyone.
The website does not store your booking. There is no database behind this site. When you submit the form, the details are sent to the clinic as an email and then exist only in our email account.
We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, and whether our advertising brings anyone here.
We share Google Analytics measurements with Google Ads so we can tell whether our advertising is working. Only the two actions above are shared, never your details.
If you would rather not be measured at all, most browsers offer tracking protection, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely. The site works normally either way.
We use three service providers, all of which are based in the United States, so your information is disclosed overseas:
We do not disclose your personal information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Booking enquiries stay in our email account for as long as we need them to arrange and follow up your care, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Where an enquiry becomes part of your clinical record, it is kept under the record-keeping obligations that apply to health services.
Analytics measurements are held by Google and Vercel under their own retention periods and are not linked to your name.
This website is served over an encrypted connection, and booking details are transmitted encrypted. Access to our email account is restricted to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Call the clinic on (02) 6059 8444 or email borderlab.dental@gmail.com.
We will normally respond within 30 days. There is no charge for asking. If we cannot give you access, we will explain why in writing.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first — call (02) 6059 8444 or email borderlab.dental@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
